A warranty that names the frame structure, not just the mattress or upholstery, tells you the manufacturer is confident the joinery will hold. Ask about this directly rather than assuming a general product warranty covers structural problems.

Bed Size Changes What Support You Need

A bigger frame puts more load through the same joints, so a queen or king needs a sturdier centre support than a single or super single if it's going to stay quiet over time. If you're buying something larger, ask how many centre legs or support beams it has and where they sit. A frame carrying a king mattress and two sleepers on just its four corner joints is far more likely to loosen up than one with proper centre support sharing the load.
