Mattress Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Duration

All mattresses come with a 10 or 15-year limited warranty, depending on the model purchased.

First 12 months: Full 1-to-1 exchange is provided free of charge (FOC) for eligible issues.

From the 13th month onward: Warranty claims will follow an internal standard calculation based on usage period, plus:

Transport & labour fee: $80.00

GST: 9% (effective as of 2025)

2. Mattress Depreciation & Replacement Cost Policy

In the event of a mattress replacement under warranty, a depreciation-based charge will be applied based on the customer’s usage period. The following calculation method will be used:

Step 1: Determine Customer Usage Period

  • Get the original delivery date of the mattress.
  • Subtract the first 12 months (covered under full warranty) from the total usage period.
  • The remaining months will be used to calculate depreciation.

Step 2: Calculate Monthly Depreciation - Sample calculation

  • Mattress Value: $1,999.00
  • Warranty Period: 10 years (120 months)
  • Yearly Depreciation: $1,999 ÷ 10 = $199.90
  • Monthly Depreciation: $199.90 ÷ 12 = $16.6583, rounded up to $17.00

Step 3: Usage Charge Calculation

Multiply $17.00 × number of months used beyond the first year

E.g., 10 months of use beyond the 1st year = $170.00

Step 4: GST Calculation (9%)

GST: 9% of usage charge $170.00 × 9% = $15.30

Step 5: Total Replacement Cost

  • Mattress usage charge: $170.00
  • GST (9%): $15.30
  • Transportation Fee: $80.00
  • Total Payable: $265.30

This calculation ensures fairness while covering part of the cost for the period the mattress has been used. Customers will be notified with a breakdown before proceeding.
